Upon completing the Tutorial, you will be able to enter Deck One, where the RNG nature of the game will come into full effect, as the layout of the map will change each time you visit a deck. Gameplay-wise, only the Tutorial is "scripted". Further to your left is the Teleporter, which will take you to Decks One through Four (though the Teleporter will be off during the tutorial, and only Deck One will be available immediately after). To your immediate left is the DNA Sequencer, where you can improve your character abilities. Unlike the rest of the ship, the Recovery Deck is always laid out the same way - upon exiting the clone chamber, to your immediate right will be the Schematic Fabricator, where you can pay Fabricator Chips to turn Schematics into Equipment as well as switch out equipment for improved versions. ![]() Each time you die in game (and you will die a lot), you will return here, losing any weapons you picked up along the way but still retaining all your currencies and schematics ( see the next section for details on currencies and other pickups). You'll start the game on the Recovery Deck.
